The fourth eVDS in Daniamant’s range, the ODEO SOS is designed to meet US Coast Guard requirements, meaning it can be used instead of pyrotechnic flares in some countries, when used with the distress flag (provided). The ODEO SOS is a high intensity strobe light providing an internationally recognised SOS morse signal. It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and built to the highest standards of quality, reliability and durability.
Utilising powerful LED lighting technology, the ODEO SOS offers enhanced visibility via an impressive, 2500cd peak equivalent output, ensuring that distress signals are easily spotted, even in challenging conditions and low visibility environments. Its user-friendly design ensures ease of use, designed with intuitive controls in an ergonomic design, allowing users to activate distress signals quickly and efficiently, even in high-pressure situations with cold gloved hands.
The eVDS is built to withstand the rigors of marine environments, thanks to the use of high-quality materials, ensuring durability and reliability in all conditions, giving users confidence in their safety equipment when it matters most. It is waterproof to 5m and has been tested at depths of 50m.
