Tomini Shipping announces acquisition of Supramax

Tomini Shipping a leading ship owner and operator, has again added to its fleet of dry bulk carriers with the purchase of a Supramax.

The Dubai-based shipping company acquired a 2010 Chinese built 56942 bulk carrier, Bravo V which has been renamed Tomini Majesty. The vessel has been delivered and is currently in dry dock.

Commercial management of Tomini’s fleet of modern vessels is handled through Alpina Chartering in Denmark, for the last 40 years, who are also partners. Tomini Shipping’s expert in-house technical management team oversee the maintenance and day-to-day operation of its vessels, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met including the International Safety Management Code, Flag State, Port Control and Classification society rules.

They provide technical and marine superintendent services for Tomini Shipping’s vessels, working with world-class suppliers and service providers to provide the full range of ship management services.

Tomini Shipping’s superintendents also oversee and supervise dry dockings and repair projects, ensuring the work is completed to the highest standards and specifications.
