The Mississippi State Port Authority is an Enterprise Agency of the State of Mississippi and is responsible for the daily operations of the Port of Gulfport. With a history stretching back to 1902, the Port of Gulfport is a bulk, breakbulk, and container seaport that encompasses a 300-acre deep-water port and a 116-acre inland port facility.
