Posidonia, the international shipping exhibition, has long been established as one of the major calendar events of the shipping industry, attracting every two years the most influential personalities from the Greek and international shipping community and major companies and organisations active in all sectors of the shipping industry.
With over 40,000 participants including exhibitors, visitors and media representatives, Posidonia 2022 was also the largest in terms of exhibition space and the most publicised event in the exhibition’s history. The 2022 exhibition welcomed 1,964 exhibiting companies from 88 countries & territories, 24 national pavilions and 28,892 visitors from 103 countries.
Posidonia is renowned for the networking opportunities and contacts made on the busy exhibition stands, the deals concluded, and the relationships formed for successful future business. Exhibitors will be ready to do business with Greek owners, keen to evaluate new technologies and equipment and to develop partnerships for their demanding fleet expansion and renewal programmes.
Posidonia serves as the platform that brings international shipowners in touch with the latest industry developments and offers them direct access to the entire range of products and services available on the international shipping market.
Posidonia is organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Insular Policy, the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, and the Union of Greek Shipowners, and with the support of the Municipality of Piraeus and the Greek Shipping Co-operation Committee.
