Seakeeper, the leader in marine motion control, opened a new training facility in San Salvatore, Italy. The European facility will reduce travel and open more training opportunities for partners outside of North America, allowing Seakeeper to develop and maintain a global network of highly skilled technicians to support the growing Seakeeper customer base.
“Our dedication to continuous improvement goes beyond our products; it’s also about the people who support them,” says Seakeeper President and CEO Andrew Semprevivo. “Our new training facility in Italy is part of our commitment to ensuring our partners are the best in the industry. By focusing on top-tier training for our partners, we can confidently give our customers the highest level of expertise and service across the globe. “
The new San Salvatore training facility can accommodate multiple classes at a time and features dedicated workplaces and toolboxes, production units for hands-on practice, classrooms, and the latest Seakeeper models, the Seakeeper 4.5 and Seakeeper 14.
Seakeeper’s training programme, Seakeeper University, includes technical and non-technical courses with interactive eLearning modules and in-person, hands-on training sessions. The combination of at-home and in-person training minimises time away from work while maximising real-life practice with factory support. By giving partners regular, accessible training, Seakeeper ensures that no matter where people are boating there are skilled Seakeeper representatives available to support them. Thanks to the new facility, technicians from partners across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa can now complete hands-on certifications closer to home.
Seakeeper University has more than 2,000 active users in the eLearning portal and approximately 10,000 completed eLearning modules. The programme has successfully trained more than 1,100 technicians in hands-on certifications, with 103 technicians earning the title of Seakeeper Master Technician, the most advanced certification. In addition to the new facility in Italy, Seakeeper has dedicated training centers in Tampa, Florida, and Gold Coast, Australia, and utilizes dealer-partner locations to offer classes in Brazil, Panama, Turkey, and the UAE.
Seakeeper remains dedicated to providing world-class training, so Seakeeper owners receive the highest quality of service and support around the globe.
